Hello world! My name is Diana Humble, and I’m an 18 year old college student studying Creative Writing, Communications, and English at Waldorf University. My dream is to become a young adult novelist, and writing is my passion. My peers would describe me as a Guitar Hero goddess.
Coming from Minnesota to Iowa, a lot of things have changed. Living alone has been terrifying and eye-opening. I’ve never been more sure yet unsure about my future as a writer, but if I don’t try I know I’ll regret it for as long as I live. So here’s to trying!
If I’ve learned anything from my time thus far, it’s that no matter what you do life is inherently terrifying. Just rolling out of bed each morning brings about the risk of strangling yourself in your bed sheets (fun fact: it’s the cause of 800 deaths each year), so why not take risks on the things that matter. Follow your heart fearlessly. I can’t guarantee you won’t get a few bumps and bruises along the way, but it’ll make you stronger. Yeah, I know it’s cheesy, but it’s the truth.
You only get one life to live, so live it fearlessly. Not stupidly.
